Nokia is known for solid, quality phones. The Nokia 6082 is a quad band flip phone that features a simple design and interface. Although not the fanciest of phones on the market the 6082 solid phone to get on a tight budget or free with AT&T activation.

The Nokia 6085 has a VGA camera, music player for MP3s, FM radio, stereo Bluetooth, email access, PS syncing, WAP 2.0 browser and a microSD card expansion slot. Battery life is rated at about 3 hours talk time and 240 hours on standby. The address book can store about 500 contacts including their email address, multiple phone numbers and even birthday. Contacts can also be organized into groups and assigned up to 11 polyphonic ringtones.

Reviewers found the Nokia 6085 presented good call quality using the phone standard and with Bluetooth; and volume was not a problem. There are some minor complains about speakerphone because the phone’s sole speaker is located on the back of the handset where the hand usually covers.

Critics also found the camera to be average at best and both internal and external displays disappointing. Additionally, music quality isn’t exactly something to write home about.

The Nokia 6085 is a solid phone with good call quality and some multimedia extras.
