We've been hearing a lot of numbers thrown around about Apple recently, and thought it might be useful to sort them all out for you.



10,000: (#) Number of iPhone/iPod Touch apps available, however you want to count them.

16.6: (%) Percentage of the Smartphone market that iPhone has, surpassing BlackBerry and Windows Mobile.
99: ($) Price of the rumored 4GB iPhone coming to a Walmart near you

40: (%) Percent of iPhone production cutback for this last quarter of 2008, likely explained by...

2 million: (#) Number of iPhones sitting around in inventory just waiting to be sold.

1: (#) The number of excess iPods sitting around in inventory. Apparently there are some serious shortages of all varieties, making them harder and harder to "touch" in the holiday "shuffle". Ha, ha, iKillmyself!

0: (#) The number of iPods rumored to be used by President-Elect Obama. I guess he likes Zunes?
