A trio of big name services are coming to big name phones, and we'd like to take a look at each of them. So without further ado, here are the major players who are making the jump to new phones:

Microsoft Office Document Editing on Android
DataViz has brought mobile document editing to Palm, Symbian, Windows Mobile, and BlackBerry's RIM. Editing Microsoft Office documents like Word, Excel, and even PowerPoint files should soon be available for iPhone owners, and will fittingly make the jump to Android phones next year.

Firefox Mobile on Symbian

Firefox Mobile, aka Fennec, is technically only available on Nokia's N810 tablet (and for mobile-less desktop evaluation), but is expected to soon be available for phones running Windows Mobile and Linux. But the real news is that Firefox Mobile will be ready for the Symbian platform in April. Still no word on making the jump to iPhone, BlackBerry or Android, and though we'd like to see more phones getting foxed, we hope they get a few actual phones running it before they announce any more planned platforms.

Pandora on Windows Mobile

The Music Genome Project has seen success (read over 2,000,000 users on the iPhone) in the mobile world. Pandora is currently available "to-go" on select Sprint and AT&T phones. Pandora has opened her box on Windows Mobile. Of course it's only available on select phones, namely the Sprint HTC Touch, Verizon XV6900, and Sprint and/or Verizon Motorola Q9c, but we should see Pandora on all sorts of WinMo phones within time.

And there you have it, a wrap-up of the big mobile news in the air today. Nothing too overwhelming or even surprising, but pretty impressive nonetheless, especially when considered together. There are more interesting things to be found in the reviews of smartphones and apps, but if none of these recent updates have you excited, maybe you can mobile your way over to some more blog posts:
