Motorola and Blockbuster Try to Save Each Other with OnDemand

Normally sick people don’t turn to other sick people for help, and it’s equally strange to see two ailing companies forming a partnership instead of turning to healthier companies. Nevertheless, Motorola and Blockbuster, two companies that are falling behind in their respective markets have teamed up to throw one gigantic Hail Mary pass in an effort to save themselves. How will they do it?
Motorola plans to offer Blockbuster’s OnDemand service on cell phones.
Blockbuster and Motorola aren’t explaining exactly how or when this will work just yet. But I guess we’ll still watch as these two companies cling to each other’s sinking ships.
