The new member of Nokia’s XpressMusic line, the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic, holds true to what you’d expect from a second generation gadget—better functionality in a slimmer design. At only 10 millimeters thick, this music cell phone slips into just about any pocket.
The Nokia 5310 XpressMusic has only 30 MB of internal memory, but can boast up to 4 GB on a microSD memory card. The lithium-ion battery will give you about five hours of talk time and up to a monstrous 18 hours of MP3, MP4, AAC and WMA music playback. FM Radio is also supported. The two-megapixel camera has a 4X zoom and a video recorder.
Expert reviews talk about the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic’s ability to text and send pictures messages, as well as email, chat online and log onto the internet. But they note the music cell phone isn’t 3G compatible.
For a music cell phone, the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic easily lands itself in our number-two spot. Its slim design, 3.5mm headphone jack and extended music capability make it one of the best music cell phones on the market.
