Android 1.5 "Cupcake" Available for T-Mobile G1

It's been a long time coming (really long, it seems), but the day is finally here when you can get the "Cupcake" firmware update for your T-Mobile G1. The 1.5 version of the Android OS will add a lot of useful features to the phone, but don't expect any radical changes to the basic navigation and organization. Still, Cupcake is pretty exciting. Details on how and where to get it are below.
Android 1.5 will add video recording, an onscreen keyboard, and new browser features in addition to access to Google Apps and the Android Market. This is the full package.
The only problem is that the 1.5 Cupcake update isn't officially available, it's just been revealed through a link on a forum and a blog. Still, we're not complaining; it just means that you have to be careful about which source the code came from. When you go to get the update, make sure to use the "version H." The H version was sourced from HTC and will allow you access to the Android Market, while using the G version from Google will prevent you from logging in and downloading from the store.
