Flash for Android, WebOS Coming in October
Rejoice, smartphone lovers, for we now have an official date for the event we've waited so long for: the release of Flash 10 beta for phones. Adobe's President and CEO, Shantanu Naraye said the release that would be supported on Android, WebOS, Windows Mobile and Symbian systems. Sorry, iPhone fans, your uber-phone isn't included. Take it up with Apple.Naraye said that the launch of the Flash 10 beta would correspond with the Adobe MAX conference this year, which means you can expect the beta to go live sometime during October 4-7. Obviously the T-Mobile G1 and Palm Pre owners will be the most excited by this because their phones don't currently support Flash (even though most WinMo and Symbian phones don't have perfect solutions for it yet either).
