HTC Plans 3 Android Phones for Release in 2009

After all the love that the T-Mobile G1 has received and the excitement over the upcoming G2 (HTC Magic), it should come as no surprise that HTC is planning more Android-powered handsets. Up until now we just didn't know what to expect. Fortunately, HTC's CEO dropped a few hints about the future of Android phones at HTC.
Peter Chou, the HTC CEO, was recently asked about rumors of five more Android phones in the works. While he wasn't very forthcoming about details, he did confirm that we can expect "at least" three Android phones from HTC this year.
Obviously, one of those three will be the as yet unreleased Magic (G2), but that means we still have two more Android phones to look forward to by year's end. Stay tuned for more updates as details on the other two phones become available.
