New EEE PC with Moblin Due in October?

What can you do with one of the best selling netbooks to make it even better? If your answer was ditch Windows and run it on Moblin we have some good news for you. Rumors indicate that the wildly popular EEE PC will ship in October with Moblin and even Chrome OS at some point in the near future.

So while none of this is confirmed, there usually is substance behind rumors. Perhaps this will make the ultra portable laptops even cheaper, who knows? One thing is certain, competition is good and Windows needs to learn that it has some competition for operating systems. Let’s just hope that the new OS isn’t horrible.
