The original Alias was a pretty nice feature phone, if not great, and the Alias 2 doesn't have that much to recommend itself over its predecessor. Except for the e-ink buttons. That's right, e-ink isn't just for expensive ebook readers anymore.

The Alias 2 sports the same dual-action flip as the original and the e-ink buttons allow for the labels to change depending on how the phone is opened. While it's a little gimmicky, it means that each button isn't crammed with little symbols for all the functions it can perform. See for yourself in the videos below.

The Alias 2 is now on sale at Verizon Wireless for $129.99 on a two-year contract. Right now there's also an instant discount of $50, bringing the price down to $79.99, so if you want in on the cool e-ink button action, you better act on it now.
