The HTC Snap showing up on the T-Mobile network has been a rumor
ever since CTIA, but T-Mobile made it official today, announcing it would be called the Dash 3G.
We also got a look at the final design, which obviously hasn't changed much, but now there are some nice red highlights. And it certainly looks better than the
original Dash it's replacing.
Unfortunately, the announcement didn't really tell us anything we didn't already know. Windows 6.1, trackball, WiFi, GPS, full QWERTY keyboard, yadda yadda. We really want to hear about pricing and release dates, but of course T-Mobile was tight-lipped on those topics.
The good news is that the
rumors of a July release are still looking pretty plausible, so we should be hearing more on this phone soon.
