We just barely saw the leaked images of the new Sony Ericsson phone, codenamed Rachael, and already we’re seeing a video of the phones user interface. What’s even more surprising, we really like what we see even though we worried about Sony Ericsson putting together their own UI for the Android OS the phone is running.

Check out the video below.

The UI looks pretty sleek and simple, two characteristics we really love to see in touchscreen interfaces. And if the rumors of a Snapdragon processor are true, this phone should be pretty responsive, downright zippy even.

If they can really bring this all together, great processor, Android OS and nice interface (along with a bug-free phone altogether), Sony Ericsson may have an incredible contender on the market.
