HTC Touch.B Gets Detailed on Video

Just a few days ago, the HTC Touch.B popped up on the rumor radar (the rudar?), and already someone has had an opportunity to handle it on video. The most interesting thing is that the phone doesn’t run Windows Mobile or Android, the two most common operating systems on HTC phones. Instead, it runs a special OS from Qualcomm, a chip manufacturer. Wondering what it looks like? Check out the video below.

As you can see in the video, Qualcomm’s BrewMP OS is a little limited compared to what we normally find in smartphones. That’s because the Touch.B, despite its impressive hardware, appears destined to be a simple feature phone (a phone with a few app-like functions, but doesn’t do much more than some light web browsing and media sharing). The phone will have full Flash support, which is huge, and the BrewMP OS is pleasantly simple, so maybe it will be a hit for those who don’t want full smartphone functionality.
