Is This an Image of the New iPhone?

It's almost been accepted as fact. Images start showing up on the blogosphere and if they stay there long enough without getting repudiated then it can be taken as if it had come from the mouth of Steve Jobs. So when pictures surfaced all the way back in February of an iPhone with a matte finish as opposed to the finger-print loving shiny back, they've only gained traction and authenticity. See below for the latest pic to surface.



Personally, I like the look and texture of the matte finish. Shiny just looks dirty after a few days and loses its effect. People try and say they have no idea if these images really will be the new iPhone but I say rumors are true until proven false ... or something along those lines.



But really, a matte finish would give the iPhone another visual revolution and it seems to fall into place with many of the other rumors we've heard. Plus, the Apple logo is supposed to be glowing ... it'll hard to keep your logo glowing with a once-shiny case. However, we think the matte finish will add nicely to the glow.

Either way, we'll hear about it at WWDC, we hope. I don't know how much longer I can wait to find out about the new case of the iPhone! Gah! The suspense is killing me. Must distract self. More gadgets. More tech news:
