LG Watch Phone to Hit UK Soon

You remember the LG watch phone. It was the really cool thing at CES. You know you secretly wanted one. Well, we heard way back in January that the phone would be hitting Europe sometime around July. So now that it’s July we’re finding out that it may hit the UK sometime in August.

“It’s as cool as James Bond, as fun as Get Smart and even cooler than Dick Tracy,” at least that’s what the PR rep at CES said about the watch phone on a CES video by T3. While I hate to just give in to marketing tactics, it still makes me a little excited to think that I could spy around corners while talking to my mom on my GD910, just so I could feel cool.

No idea on pricing although rumors are it will be more than $1,000. Could be a worthwhile investment. At least you wouldn’t have to worry about it falling in the toilet or some other equally unsavory location. So, move to the UK and sign up with Orange if you have the money to spend on it.
